We are back in Florida today after a good Gulf Stream crossing, despite having no wind and having to motor the whole way. We had a great time in Bimini and still have a few stories to tell, but for now we are looking forward to land, hot showers, doing laundry, air conditioning, cheap beer, and all those other little luxuries we miss on the water.
We are Greg and Duwan. in 2011 we sold all our stuff, rented our house, bought a 36 foot sailboat and set sail on a nomadic adventure that has taken us to the Bahamas, all across North America, and South America.
We gave up the boat in 2016 and converted a cargo van into a camper. We sold the van in 2023. Currently we are traveling around with backpacs in South America trying to improve our Spanish and discovering amazing landscapes, wildlife, the remains of ancient cultures, and warm and generous people everywhere we go.
